One Life

Unlike so many women who lose their way, Nicole Holmquist was able to find the path that would lead her back home again. Her autobiographical account of this journey, One Life, leads the reader through the many challenges and trials life presented to her as she traversed this path.

After beginning life as an orphan, being adopted by strangers, and growing up to marry an abusive man, Holmquist never felt in control of what would happen to her next. That is, until she undertook her journey to find herself and to return home where she belonged.
